| A note about DAFs and Private Foundations: |
Hale Centre Theatre encourages you to consult your tax advisor regarding contributions from donor advised funds (DAFs) or private foundations. Under current IRS regulations, if a donor receives more than an incidental benefit in return for a grant from one of these sources, it may result in tax penalties. To remain compliant, grants from DAFs or foundations should not be used to cover portions of contributions tied to benefits such as tickets. |
