For students looking for deep-focused and highly interactive intensives from the incredible production team members here at Hale Centre Theatre. Each intensive is different, so be sure to read through each of them to catch dates, times, and disciplines being taught. Each class has a limited number of seats available, so book early!
 

 

Intermediate Tap

Instructors: Spencer Lawson
 
Grab your tap shoes and join in the fun in this 8-week, once weekly, evening intensive, with tap instructor, Spencer Lawson. This class will focus on terminology, balance, technique, rhythm, and choreography in the realm of musical theater tap. Previous tap experience is recommended.

Video Auditioning

Instructors: Kelly DeHaan
 
For this two-day evening intensive, we will go over the do's and don't's of video auditioning and how to set yourself up for the best success, from audition choice, to lighting, to sound, to framing. Come prepared with audition cuts, filming devices, and ready to work your auditions!

Musical Theatre Workshop

Come work with HCT Resident Director Dave Tinney as he goes through the 3 P's of casting and performance: Preparation, Presence, and Professionalism. Come prepared with musical theater pieces to work on, as well as notes to take during this 2-night intensive.
