What do I prepare for an audition?
Each audition is different. The norm for a musical is to prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. We usually don’t do any dancing, reading or monologues at the initial musical audition. This can differ with any given show.
For a comedy/drama the norm is to prepare a one-minute monologue or a provided script-based side at the request of the director.
Do you have acting roles for children?
There are always children’s roles in A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Any other children roles are based on script requirements.
