Shae Robins

Shae is thrilled to be back at Hale Centre Theatre! She was most recently seen as Sophie in Mamma Mia as well as Mary Poppins and Snow White in Disney’s When You Wish at Tuacahn Amphitheater. She spent three seasons at Tuacahn in nine different shows performing and covering roles like Katherine in Newsies, Jane in Tarzan, and Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Some of her other favorite roles include Mercedes in The Count of Monte Cristo, Vanessa in In the Heights, and Ensemble in Mary Poppins and Les Miserables at HCT West Valley. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Dance Theater and teaches at Utah Center of Performing Arts. She is a private voice teacher and is signed with Talent Management Group working in commercials, TV, and film. “As always, a big thank you to my family and friends for their continuous love and support! ‘Party On!’ Grandpa Harley”


Preston Taylor

HCT audiences will recognize Preston from his starring roles as Jack Kelly in Newsies and as the Tin Man/Hickory in The Wizard of Oz. His favorite roles include Joseph in Joseph…Dreamcoat at Sundance and as Cinderella’s Prince/The Wolf in Into the Woods at BYU. Other credits include Bobby Child in Crazy for You, Finch in How to Succeed in Business…, Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza, Billy in Anything Goes, Ren in Footloose, Albert Lennox in The Secret Garden, and Ambrose Kemper in Hello, Dolly! A senior in the Music Dance Theatre program at BYU, Preston has performed for four years with BYU’s Young Ambassadors, has served as their president for three and toured to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Brazil, China, and the western U.S. “Thanks to my beautiful wife, Emily, for her love and unending support!”


Michelle Blake

Michelle is no stranger to the HCT stage, having previously been seen as Madame Baurel in An American In Paris, Mae Tuck in Tuck Everlasting, Mrs. Potiphar in Joseph…Dreamcoat, Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Georgia in Curtains, Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins, Paula Abagnale in Catch Me If You Can, Dolly Tate in Annie Get Your Gun, as well as in A Tale of Two Cities, Ragtime, Crazy For You, and The Pirates of Penzance. Michelle lists some of her other credits as Sunset Boulevard, Annie, Man of La Mancha, The Music Man, Oliver!, It Happened One Christmas, and the U.S. professional premiere of Frank Wildhorn’s The Count of Monte Cristo, all at Pioneer Theatre Company. Other roles include Lilli/Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Betty Haynes in White Christmas, Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde, and Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray. Michelle studied vocal performance at USU, and is a full-time mom and part-time actor! “Much love and many thanks to my family and friends, especially my husband and daughter, for your constant love and support.”


Elizabeth Summerhays

Elizabeth was last seen at HCT in our productions of Hello, Dolly!, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Ragtime. Other performances include Jane Austen’s EMMA (Pioneer Theatre), MAMA (world premiere) (Plan B Theater), Jewish American Songbook (Deer Valley Music Festival [Jerry Steichen, conductor]), Little Shop of Horrors, 1776, Secret Garden, and Anything Goes (Grand Theatre), Macbeth, Hay Fever, and The Would-Be Gentlemen (Babcock Theater) and Proof and Arcadia (Pinnacle Acting Company). She is a graduate of the BFA Actor Training Program at the University of Utah and is a music teacher and film/television actor with McCarty Talent.


Rachel Bigler

Rachel last graced our stage as Miss Barley in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder earlier this season. Recent credits include Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast, Ado Annie in Oklahoma! (Sundance Resort), Lucy Steele/Fanny Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility (HCTO), and Alice Sycamore in You Can’t Take it With You (Noorda Regional Theatre). Other roles include Blanche Ingram in Jane Eyre, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Ensemble in The Addams Family. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Performance from Utah Valley University. “Thank you to Sally, Dave, and Gary for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this production!”


Kristi Curtis

Kristi is excited to be back on the Hale Centre Theatre stage after last being seen in The Wizard of Oz. Directorial credits include Camelot at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, and Choreographer for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, 1776 (awarded 2017 Broadway World’s Best Choreographer in Utah), and Children of Eden also for Centerpoint. Her favorite roles include: Revels Performer (Utah Shakespeare Festival), Madame de Polignac in Marie Antoinette (Good Company Theatre), and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof (Centerpoint Legacy Theatre). She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Acting from Weber State University and works as an Events Manager for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. “All my love to my boys Carter, Tristan, and especially Josh for loving and supporting all that I am.”


B.J. Whimpey

B.J. was previously seen in The Wizard of Oz as Professor Marvel/The Wizard of Oz. B.J. includes Lord Farquaad (Shrek), Brom Bones (Sleepy Hollow the Musical), Frank Butler (Annie Get Your Gun), King Henry II (The Lion in Winter), Nicky/Trekki Monster (Avenue Q), Officer Lockstock (Urinetown), and C.S. Lewis (Freud’s Last Session) as favorite roles. He is also a former actor in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theatre from Weber State University and is currently works as a Freelance Voiceover Artist as well as Comic Book Minion at Heebeegeebeez Comics, Games and Toys. “May the Force be With You, Always.”


Taylor Smith

Taylor was recently part of our production of A Christmas Carol 2018 and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He was also in our 2009 production of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Other roles include: Sydney Carton in A Tale of Two Cities and Edward Rutledge in 1776 at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, Pseudelous in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for the U of U Theatre Department, Jaime in The Last Five Years, and Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress for Salt Lake Shakespeare. He is in his final year of a double major BFA in Theatre and Vocal Performance at the University of Utah and works for Digicert Inc. “Thank you to Amanda, Evie, and Mile for all your love and support. I love you.”


Kelton Davis

Kelton was part of the Ensemble of our recent production of The Scarlet Pimpernel. He also played Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd for Actor’s Repertory Theatre Ensemble, as well as Kerchak in Tarzan, The General in Seussical, and Noah in Children of Eden for American Fork Players. He has a BA in Media Arts from BYU and is the Creative Director at Stringham Schools. “I’m incredibly honored to perform again on this one-of-a-kind stage! Thank you to my wife, Emilie, my daughter, Penelope, my supportive family, and the amazing cast and crew of Cinderella.”


Alec Powell

Alec was most recently seen on the HCT stage in My Son Pinocchio as Ringleader, To Kill a Mockingbird as Tom Robinson, as TJ in Sister Act, and in Big River in the Slave Chorus. Other recent performances: Sebastian (The Little Mermaid) HCTO, Horton (Seussical), Lehi Arts Council, King (Cinderella) at Pioneer Arts Repertory Company, Big Jule (Guys and Dolls) on the HCTO stage, and Mereb (Aida) at the SCERA. Alec recently graduated with his BS in Music Education from UVU and works as a local choir teacher. Alec is super excited to be working with such a talented cast and phenomenal directorial crew. “I’d like to thank my family for being incredibly supportive and as always, ‘This one’s for you, Rhonda!’”


Brodee Ripple

Brodee has performed at Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley, Sundance Summer Theatre, and the SCERA in She Loves Me, All Shook Up, and Joseph…Dreamcoat. He is pursuing a musical theatre degree at UVU and works as a youth theatre instructor at the SCERA Center for the Arts. “A huge shout out to his Mon, Kathryn, McKelle and Laurel for always believing in him!”


Christian Johnston
Man 1
  Christian lists some of his favorite previous roles and production as Marcellus Washburn in The Music Man, Tom Sawyer in Big River, and Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web at Lyric Repertory Company, Sgt. Wetzel in Pirated! at Good Company Theatre, Rolf in The Sound of Music at Sundance Summer Theatre, Diesel in West Side Story at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, Isaac the Official in Where Words Once Were at Weber State University, and Savior of The World at the LDS Conference Center Theater. Christian is a full-time student, currently a senior in the Musical Theatre program at Weber State University.

Joshua Carr
Man 2

At HCT, Joshua played Buttons in Newsies, Dick Wilkins in A Christmas Carol and Man 8 in An American in Paris. At Centerstage Theatre, he was Link Larkin in Hairspray. His Scera Theatre credits include Eric in The Little Mermaid, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin in Aladdin, The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, Ren in Footloose, and Johnny Brown in The Unsinkable Molly Brown. In 2016, he was the first-place national winner of the Musical Theatre Competition of America. A recent graduate of Timpview High School, he currently teaches elementary school-aged kids musical theatre at the Scera Theatre. “Thank you to my Hale family who has taught me so much over the past year!”


Luke Hardy
Man 3

Luke recently portrayed Albert/Bill in our production of Newsies. He also starred as Bert in Mary Poppins and Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone at Olympus High School. He’s currently studying Linguistics at the University of Utah and works at VRx Pharmacy at City Creek Mall. Luke would like to thank his family, friends, and especially his two dogs, Luna and Louie.


Clayton Barney
Man 4

Clayton recently was seen in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder on our Jewel Box stage and was previously seen at HCT in The Scarlet Pimpernel (Tussaud), Crazy for You (Bella Zangler), Little Women (John Brooks), as well as in A Christmas Carol, Aida, and The Music Man. He has an AFA in Musical Theater from Western Wyoming College and works as a service writer and warranty manager for a trailer repair shop. “I am so grateful to my family for their love and support. It is such a blessing to use my talents to tell stories and touch the lives of so many people. A very big thanks to our production staff and especially the patrons of this theatre for allowing us to entertain you. It is quite the privilege.”


Woody Brook
Man 5

Woody was most recently seen on the HCT stage in An American in Paris, Newsies, Tuck Everlasting and Aida. He also performed in our West Valley space in both A Christmas Carol, and Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. At HCTO, he has performed in Anything Goes, Tarzan, and Joseph… Dreamcoat, as well as in Legally Blonde at Vilar Performing Arts Center, Colorado. “Thanks to my incredible family, friends, castmates, and creative team for their support and love! I hope you all have ‘A Lovely Night’”!


Wyatt Hendricks
Man 6

Wyatt is making his HCT debut with Cinderella. He was a Dancer in Verano at Lagoon Amusement Park and appeared in Chess at the University of Utah. He was in the Developmental Premieres of “Deluge” and Ryan Scott Oliver’s “We Foxes” at Weber State University, where he also played Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He got his Associate’s degree from Weber State where he studied musical theatre and will begin the musical theatre program at The University of Utah as a junior this fall. “I would like to thank every educator who has helped me along the way, my family, and my mother, who has never stopped believing in me!”


Morgan Western
Woman 1

Morgan recently played Marie in our production of The Scarlet Pimpernel and was in the Octet for A Christmas Carol. Favorite past roles include Polly in Crazy for You, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, Martha Jefferson in 1776, and Brenda Strong in Catch Me if You Can at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre. She also played Pinkalicious in Pinkalicious the Musical for Utah Children’s Theatre. She attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre with an Acting Emphasis. “Special thanks to my personal Prince Charming, Zackery, and to my family who have always supported me playing pretend.”


Samantha Stuck
Woman 2

Samantha is making her first appearance at HCT with Cinderella. She appeared as Jennyanydots in Cats and as Eva in Bring it On: The Musical at the University of Utah. Other roles include Lolo/Dancer in The Merry Widow and Dancer in Die Fledermaus for Utah Opera, as well as Masha/Ensemble in Young Frankenstein at The Grand Theatre. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2017 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Modern Dance. She is a Sales Supervisor at Michael Kors, and loves getting to meet new people every day! She is also a certified Pilates Instructor through Balanced Body.


Emily Taylor
Woman 3

Cinderella marks Emily’s introduction to the HCT stage. She was in Joseph…Dreamcoat at Sundance and performed with the BYU Young Ambassadors from 2016 to 2019. She is a Brigham Young University graduate with a degree in Human Development. “I’m incredibly grateful to my family, friends, the Hale (for this opportunity), and my own Prince Charming. Preston, you really are as wonderful as you seem!”


Leddy Burdiss
Woman 4

Leddy comes to us for the first time with performance experience at various venues in Houston, Texas. Her previous productions include: Into the Woods, The Music Man, Crazy for You, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and more! She will be entering her third year at the University of Utah this fall where she is pursuing a bachelor’s of music in choral music education. “A huge thank you to my family and friends for their never-ending love and support. WOOHOO!”


Megan McDonnell
Woman 5

Megan was also part of our cast of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Her most recent role was as Star to Be in Annie at HCTO. She also appeared as Myrtha in Giselle and as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker at Northwest Classical Ballet. She is currently attending BYU and teaches ballet at Provo School of the Arts. “A special thanks to my family for all the love and support.”


Aubrielle Arroyo
Woman 6

Aubrielle is absolutely honored to be making her HCT debut in Cinderella. She attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, studying dance. She moved to New York City to study at the Broadway Dance Center in their Professional Semester program. While there, she worked with the New York Musical Festival, Jazz Roots Dance Company, and Good Morning America. Her previous theater credits include Joseph…Dreamcoat (Mrs. Potiphar, Dance Captain), Pippin (Leading Player), and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon). She currently teaches dance at Utah Dance Artists and The Winner School. “HUGE thanks to my family and my wonderful husband for their encouragement and support. This one’s for you!”
