Lexi Walker**
Dorothy Gale
  Lexi is grateful to be making her debut at Hale Centre Theatre with The Wizard of Oz.  She is a singer, songwriter, actress and recording artist signed with Sony Music and Paradigm Talent Agency. She began her performing career at the age of 11. From then to now she has shared the stage with Kristen Chenoweth, The Piano Guys, and Lindsey Stirling. She has also been fortunate to open shows for Alfie Boe, Clint Black, and Idina Menzel. Some of her favorite places to perform include Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall, and for the Presidential Inaugural Ball.  As she works her way toward college, she fills her spare time with reading, painting, and canyoneering. “So much love for my family and friends! Dreams do come true!”

Ava Hoekstra

  Ava’s past productions with HCT include Pinocchio (Girl 2) and The Heart of Robin Hood (Sarah Summers). She recently played Small Alison in Fun Home at Salt Lake Acting Company and has been in several productions at Pioneer Theatre Company including Fiddler on the Roof, It Happened One Christmas, Oliver!, and The Will Rogers Follies. Ava has received training with Utah COPA and the Utah Conservatory in Park City. This 8th grader has had the opportunity of performing for the Salt Lake Bees, at last summer’s Melissa Etheridge concert, and at Disneyland. She also received a first place award at the 2017 Con Brio Music Festival vocal competition. “Thanks HCT for this incredible opportunity and to my family for all their love and support!”

Bailee Morris

Good Witch
  Bailee returns to HCT having last been seen as Mae Tuck in Tuck Everlasting and Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act. Some of her favorite roles include Melpomene in Xanadu, Gloria in Damn Yankees, Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Mama Noah at BYU, where she was also in the Young Ambassadors program for three years. Bailee is a contemporary voice teacher and freelance photographer. “To my Snuggle Family: I love you. Taylor, Zoe, and Tilly, you are my world.”

  Scott is excited to be back at HCT after being in Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang and 9 to 5. He recently appeared in Betty Blue Eyes at HCTO as Henry Allerdyce, who was infatuated with Betty, a pig. He has a BFA in Interior Design and works in Property Management.

Addison Welch
Hickory / Tinman
  Most recently seen as Harold Hill in The Music Man, Addison has previously been seen on the HCT stage as Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, as Lumière in Beauty and The Beast, and Mrs. Bumbrake in Peter and The Starcatcher. Another favorite role was Ichabod Crane in Sleepy Hollow: The Musical. Addison has a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theatre from Weber State University, and works as self-employed artist/photographer. “I’m thrilled to be going down the yellow brick road with this incredible cast and crew! Thanks to my beautiful family, Bre, Alfe, and Poppy for this incredible life we have!”

Kooper Campbell
Hunk / Scarecrow
  Kooper has been on the HCT stage since he was five years old, and was most recently seen as Jesse Tuck in Tuck Everlasting.  Other favorite roles include Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Huck Finn in Big River, Boy (Peter) in Peter and the Starcatcher, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, Winthrop in The Music Man, Billy Kopecki in Big: The Musical, Boy in Ragtime, Young Cosmo in Singin’ in the Rain and Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island. Kooper is a graduate of the Music Dance Theatre program at BYU and works for RC Willey in Display. “All my love to Juliette and my Family. Stay Gold!”

Sharon Kension

  Sharon has been seen on the HCT stage for many years, most recently as Eulalie MacKecknie Shinn in The Music Man.  A few of her favorite previous productions include Beauty and The Beast, Nunsense, Lucky Stiff, Guys and Dolls, Over The River and Through The Woods, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Sound of Music, A Tale of Two Cities, Les Miserables, The Miracle Worker, Steel Magnolias, Pillow Talk, Fiddler on The Roof, A Christmas Carol, 9 to 5: The Musical, and Sister Act. Sharon was a dance major with a ballet scholarship at the American Ballet Theatre, and works as the Special Events Manager here at HCT. “This performance is for my beautiful daughter, my best cheerleader. Miss you.”

David Marsden

  David was most recently seen as Dr. Chapman in our production of Cash on Delivery. He has also been seen at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre as The Major General in The Pirates of Penzance, Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins, Lt. Cioffi in Curtains, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, and Lawrence Jamison in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He also appeared at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City as Lloyd in Noises Off.  “Romans 14:19.”

Zack Elzey
Man 1
  Zack was most recently seen as Bottom in our Youth Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This 12th grader’s past roles include Tim Allgood in Noises Off and Huckleberry Finn in Big River at the SCERA Center for the Arts, The Mute in The Fantasticks for Sundance Summer Theatre, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors for Utah COPA, Baby John in West Side Story for Murray Arts Council and West Valley City Arts, and Saturninus in Titus Andronicus of Utah Valley Shakespeare Players. “Thank you to Dave, Kelly, Jamie, my family, and to my friends in the show and out of the show! Abrin Tinney

  Abrin was last seen on the HCT stage as Albert/Bill in NEWSIES. Previous HCT roles include: Man 1/Baritone in Tuck Everlasting, Man 4/Nubian/Minister/Warrior Dancer/Soldier in Aida, Joel in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, as well as Disney’s Beauty and The Beast and Oliver! Abrin has also performed on the HCTO stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical: The Musical, and 14 Youth Performances. Drew Francom

  Prior to his HCT debut as Tommy Boy in NEWSIES, Drew was seen as the Tin Man in Copper Mountain Middle School’s production of The Wizard of Oz. He also appeared in Sleeping Beauty and A Christmas Carol at HCTO and in Thriller with Odyssey Dance Theater. This senior in the dance program at Pioneer High School for the performing Arts has training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, and Ballroom. He teaches Hip Hop and Clogging at Body Logic Dance Studio and works as a personal Stylist at The Buckle.

Trevor Elzey
Man 4
  Recently seen as Henry in NEWSIES and Man 2/Tenor 2 in Tuck Everlasting, Trevor has performed at the Sundance Summer Theatre, HCT Orem, Capitol Theater, The Egyptian, and SCERA. Some of his favorite roles include Marius in Les Miserables, The Baker in Beauty and The Beast, Tobias in Sweeny Todd, Andy/Dick in Big River, Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Ensemble in The Pirate Queen. Trevor has completed three years of his BFA in Musical Theatre Performance at UVU, and is finishing soon. “Perfection is not just about control, it’s also about letting go.”

Keith Goodrich

  Keith is no stranger to the HCT stage, having been seen in Aida, Joseph and the… Dreamcoat, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Pirate Queen, Oklahoma!, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Brigadoon and Tarzan. He recently appeared in Anything Goes at HCTO.  Keith has his degree in Music Education with a Vocal Performance Emphasis from Dixie State University and is the choir and orchestra teacher at Elk Ridge Middle School.  He also does some choreography for several high schools in the Salt Lake area.  Keith loves to dabble in Aerial Acrobatics.  “If you want to live an extraordinary life you have to do extraordinary things.”

Jason Buonforte
Man 6
  Jason was last seen on the HCT stage in the Ensembles for Tuck Everlasting and Aida. Other previous HCT roles include Jeb in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sultan in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast and Magician in Big Fish. He has also performed as Ensemble in In the Heights, and Combeferre in Les Miserables at HCTO. When not on stage, Jason works in the legal department for Vivint. “I am extremely grateful to the production team and all those involved with this fantastic production. I am truly humbled to be able to perform at such a beautiful theatre.”

Nick Morris
Man 7
  Nick is back at HCT after being in The Wedding Singer. Previous productions include: Ragtime at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, Thrill Me for Good Company Theatre, and The Full Monty and Forever Plaid at The Grand Theatre. He attended Weber State University where he majored in modern dance. While at WSU, he completed an internship at Walt Disney World in the entertainment department. He is self-employed as the owner of three coffee shops in Ogden called Kaffe Mercantile.

Brock Dalgleish
Man 8
  Brock has been seen on our stage multiple times, most recently as Jehan Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Other recent HCT appearances include multiple roles in Aida, as well as Guy of Gisborne in The Heart of Robin Hood and Benjamin Pontipee in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. He’s also been seen at Tuacahn Amphitheatre in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan and Peter Pan. Theatre, Brock has played Jason McConnell in Bare (BroadwayWorld.com winner for Best Actor in a Musical) and Carrie: The Musical  at Utah Repertory. He has also worked at Walt Disney World in The Lion King, High School Musical 2 and 3, and Disney Channel Rocks. He also toured with DisneyLive’s European Tour in Mickey’s Rockin’ Roadshow. Brock is a full-time actor. “Thank you Riley for loving me and supporting me. I love you to Oz and back babe.”

LaRene Tinney

  LaRene’s most recent performance at HCT was in Tuck Everlasting. Some of her favorite productions she has been in previously include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Sister Act at HCT, Crazy For You and Seussical: The Musical at HCTO, and Guys and Dolls and Oklahoma! at Sundance. She is a graduate of BYU with a Bachelor’s of Science, and works as the Box Office Manager at HCT Orem. “In a world of tornadoes and scary witches, one thing stays true…There’s No Place Like Home! Love to my family.”

Haley Wawro

  Haley is a recent graduate from BYU studying Music Dance Theater. She has previously been seen on the HCT stage as Florika in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Lady Falconbury in The Heart of Robin Hood, Mrs. Sanders in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and a Nun in Sister Act. Some of Haley’s favorite roles have included Eponine in Les Mis, Cathy in The Last Five Years, Anita in West Side Story, and Martha in The Secret Garden.  She has also performed all over the world including Scotland, South Africa and Zimbabwe. “So excited to be back at Hale Theatre doing what I love most. Big thanks to friends and family for all the support!”

Maggie Scott

  Maggie’s previous credits include: Mary Poppins, A Christmas Carol, and Oklahoma! for HCT; Les Miserables, The Music Man, Elf, Annie, A Christmas Carol, and It Happened One Christmas for Pioneer Theatre Company; Secret Garden, Jane Eyre for HCTO; Annie and The Wizard of Oz for HCTO’s Youth Productions. She originated the role of Miri Larendaughter in the world premiere of Princess Academy: The Musical. This Wasatch High School senior loves dancing in the rain, math & engineering, reading non-stop and making music videos for her YouTube channel. “Thanks to Dave, Kelly, the Dietleins, and everyone else for this opportunity to live so many of my dreams at the same time. ‘Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.’ Helen Keller”

Camille Evans

  HCT is happy to welcome back Camille to our stage. Last seen as Sister Mary Martin of Tours in Sister Act. Other favorite credits include Ilse in Spring Awakening at the U of U and in our Ensemble in The Pirate Queen on our West Valley stage. Camille has come full circle with Wiz of the West (a parody of The Wiazrd of Oz) with the Missoula Children’s Theatre where she played the Lion. “Reality is something your rise above” – Liza Minnelli

Sarah Black

  Sarah has been on the HCT stage in Sister Act, Mary Poppins, and My Fair Lady.  She has also performed in Will Rogers Follies (Pioneer Theatre Company), 42nd Street and Peter Pan (Tuacahn Center for the Arts), and Aida and Oklahoma! (BYU).  She runs her own business designing leather bags, teaching sewing, and organizing humanitarian trips to teach women how to sew in India. She recently got married and returned from Fiji as a humanitarian youth trip leader with HEFY.

Kathryn Detweiler

  Another newcomer to HCT, Kathryn’s most recent productions include Mary Poppins and Into the Woods at BYU. Other favorites include How to Succeed in Business…, and Anything Goes. She is currently in the MDT program at BYU. “I would like to thank the entire creative and production team at Hale. I am also incredibly grateful for the support of my wonderful friends and family.”

Christina Bluth
Woman 7
  Christina grew up dancing and training here in Utah. She became a member of Odyssey Dance Theatre in 1998, where she performed many principal roles and had the opportunity to work with and learn from prestigious choreographers. She is currently and assistant artistic director for the company. She was a principal dancer in High School Musical 3 and Hallmark Channel’s 12 Days of Christmas. She loves teaching and choreographing all styles of dance for dance studios, pre-professional, and professional dance companies and instruction yoga. She is enjoying her aerial arts training from Defying Gravity Utah. “I would like to thank my ever-supportive husband, mother and three boys for holding down the fort while I continue to live my performance dreams and stretch my artistic wings!”

Jane Jackson

  Jane comes to HCT for the first time with extensive dance experience—most recently as a dancer for the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concerts in 2016 and 2017. She has a BA in Dance from BYU Idaho and is a dance teacher at Herriman High School, where she coaches the ballroom team and teaches the musical dance theatre class. She has also choreographed Big Fish, Kiss Me Kate, The King and I, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for Herriman High, South Jordan Middle School and community theaters.

Holly Crumpton

  Holly began the sport of equestrian vaulting at age 6 with the Oak Hills Vaulting club in Salem, Utah and was a member for 13 years (Equestrian vaulting is the combination of dance & gymnastics on the back of a moving horse). She has competed at many local and regional AVA (American Vaulting Association) and USEF (United States Equestrian Federation) recognized competitions at the Silver level along with performing with clubs performance troupe GOHA (Gymnastics on Horseback Association) at various county & state fairs, halftime shows and renaissance fairs.  Holly began my aerial journey in 2013 and currently train with Ramsi Stoker of Defying Gravity Utah and also trains pole and hand-balancing at Onyx Pole and Aerial Fitness. She enjoyes spending time with my horses and hiking in the mountains!

Alice-Nicole Sager

  Another newcomer to HCT, Alice-Nicole’s previous theatre experience includes a production of Cats. She has a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a BA in French-both from Utah State University and is contemplating beginning a master’s degree soon. She also has a 200-hour yoga certification from Salt Lake Community College and works as a Contract Administration Specialist as Intermountain Healthcare. “Love is an action, never simply a feeling.” Bell Hooks

  This 5th grader is no stranger to the HCT stage, having played Les in Newsiws, Everett in A Bundle of Trouble, Chip in Beauty and the Beast, Young Will in Big Fish, and both Tiny Tim and Frederick Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. He works hard on piano, basketball, learning Chinese and playing games with his family. “Thanks to all my family for all their support.”

Aaron Jack "AJ"

  AJ is proud to be making his theatre debut on the Hale Centre Theatre stage. He is cuddly and sweet, and loves his theatre family. When not chewing on Mikey and Jason's shoes, AJ enjoys his rubber duckies, burrowing in pillows and blankets, and Saturday morning cartoons. "Bark bark bark bark, bark, bark, bark, bark."
