  Josh was most recently seen on the HCT stage as ‘Robert Summers/Green Man/Duke’ in The Heart of Robin Hood, and ‘Bob Ewell’ in To Kill A Mockingbird. Josh has been seen on the HCT stage ‘Bill Slank/Hawking Clam’ in Peter and the Starcatcher, ‘Thernardier’ in Les Misérables, ‘Kerchak’ in Tarzan, ‘Bill Sykes’ in Oliver!, ‘Long John Silver’ in Treasure Island, ‘Frank Butler’ in Annie Get Your Gun, ‘Stryver’ in A Tale of Two Cities, ‘Trevor Graydon’ in Thoroughly Modern Millie and many, many more. A few of his favorite roles outside of HCT are ‘Elwood P. Dowd’ in Harvey, ‘Shrek’ in Shrek: The Musical, ‘Adam Pontipee’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, ‘Zach’ in A Chorus Line and ‘Sky Masterson’ in Guys and Dolls. Josh’s film credits include Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration and National Lampoon’s Bagboy. Bradley Quinn Lever
Quasimodo
  Bradley made his debut on our West Valley stage in 2009’s Phantom. Since then, he has starred in several musicals, including ‘Enjorlas’ in Les Misérables, ‘Tarzan’ in Disney’s Tarzan, and ‘Joseph’ in Joseph…Dreamcoat. He is also 1/3 of the tenor trio group that was formed at Hale Centre Theatre: GENTRI. The group has released three albums, and has also performed around the world with vocalists such as Alfie Boe, Idina Menzel, and Kristin Chenoweth. Bradley is a Digital Content Producer for Blenderbottle, and the owner/founder of SPEK Creative Co., a multimedia production company. He is thrilled to be a part of Hunchback, and hopes it inspires audiences to show empathy and compassion to others.
     

David Paul Smith

  David hasn’t been seen on the HCT stage since She Loves Me in 2014. He lists some other favorite productions as Peter and the Starcatcher, Into the Woods and Thoroughly Modern Millie at HCTO, Noises Off, Pride & Prejudice, and Oklahoma! at the SCERA, and Forever Plaid at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland with American Performing Arts International. David has a Bachelor’s of Music, with an emphasis in Media Music Studies from BYU, and is also a previous member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. He works as the Financial Assistant, Youth Theater Director, and Voice Teacher for Hale Centre Theatre Orem. “I am grateful for my wife, kids, family, and friends who continue to support me in my passion – to tell good stories. Please enjoy this story tonight that touched me as a child, and continues to be very dear to my heart. Change will come, one day, someday soon.”
     

Angela Chatelain Avila

  Angie has performed for theatres all over the state, including Pioneer Theatre Company, Salt Lake Acting Company, The Grand Theatre, and HCTO. Favorite roles include ‘Mary Lou’ in Cowgirls, ‘Narrator’ in Joseph…Dreamcoat, ‘Elizabeth Benning’ in Young Frankenstein, ‘Judith’ in Not The Messiah, and ‘The Witch’ in Big Fish. “As always, thank you so much to William for all the love and support.”
     

Jack David Shapiro

Jack was just seen on our Centre Stage as ‘Man 3/Nubian/Minister/Warrior Dancer/Soldier’ in Aida, and in West Valley as ‘Caleb’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and ‘Will Parker’ in Oklahoma! Other local theatrical productions: ‘Joseph’ in Joseph…Dreamcoat (HCTO), and ‘Perchik’ in Fiddler on the Roof (Sundance). Jack is a graduate from BYU with a degree in Music, Dance, Theatre and is currently working in Business Services for Utah First Credit Union.

     

Jeremy David Egan

  Jeremy has previously been seen on stage at the Pickleville Playhouse in Juanito Bandito’s Christmas Carol, and in The Little Mermaid at our West Valley theatre. He recently returned from working in the United States Senate in Washington D.C., and is studying Liberal Arts with a Political Science Minor at USU. “I’m grateful for my family and friends who love me unconditionally.”
     

Haley Wawro

  Haley has previously been seen on the HCT stage as ‘Lady Falconbury/Soldier’ in The Heart of Robin Hood, ‘Mrs. Sanders’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and ‘Nun/Homeless/Lady/Bar Patron/Fantasy Dancer’ in Sister Act. Some of Haley’s favorite roles have included ‘Eponine’ in Les Mis, ‘Anita’ in West Side Story, and ‘Martha’ in The Secret Garden. She is a Senior at BYU studying Music Dance Theater. She has also been a member of the BYU Young Ambassadors and has had the honor to tour with them to Nauvoo, Illinois, South Africa and Zimbabwe. “So excited to be back at Hale Theatre doing what I love most. Big thanks to friends and family for all the support!”
     

Dan Frederickson

  Dan was seen last year as ‘Adam Pontipee’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at our WVC theatre, and at CentrePoint Legacy Theatre as ‘Gaston’ in Beauty and The Beast.” Dan has a BA in Information Systems from Utah State University, and an MBA from the University of Utah, and spends his days as a Security Operations Manager for Domo. “Whatever you are, be a good one.”
     

Scott Hoffman

  Scott has toured Asia and South America as a former Ray Conniff Singer, as well as various operatic roles with the LA Music Center Opera, Euterpe Opera of Los Angeles, and the Utah Opera. He is returning to the Hale stage, where he was last seen as ‘Herr Zeller’ in The Sound of Music. Scott majored in Vocal Music at California State University, Northridge, and presently works as a Realtor with Realty Path South Valley. “I would like to publically thank my incredibly talented and amazing son, Preston, as well as my beautiful sister, Tracie, for being my rock and support. Without your love and common sense, I wouldn’t be on this stage tonight.”
     

Aaron Ford

Aaron is returning to the Hale stage after last being seen as ‘Scuttle’ in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. He has also been in Mary Poppins, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (HCTWV), ‘Bert’ in Mary Poppins (CenterPoint Legacy Theatre), ‘Corny Collins’ in Hairspray (The Grand Theatre Company), ‘Leaf Coneybear’ in The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee (Midvale Main Street Theatre), and ‘Seymour’ in Little Shop of Horrors (Rodger’s Memorial Theatre). He works in Human Resources for BioFire Diagnostics, and also performed at Lagoon for eight years. “Thanks to Dave & Kelly for making this possible, and to my family and friends for their love and support!”

     

Thomas Brandley
Man 3
  This is Thomas’ 13th production at HCT; some of his favorite previous roles include ‘LeFou’ in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, ‘Zacky’ in Big Fish, and ‘Daniel’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Thomas studied musical theatre at both Weber State, and the University of Utah, and works as a Retail Manager. “I push myself until I can’t go any further, and then I know it’s time to push myself some more.”
     

Tyler Rostedt
Man 4
  Tyler is returning to the HCT stage, having previously performed in last season’s Joseph…Dreamcoat. He lists as some of his other favorites roles as ‘Von Hussler’ in Mary Poppins (BYU), ‘Sky’ in Mamma Mia (Queensland Performing Arts Center) and ‘Tyron’ in Fame (Urangan Theater Company). Tyler is currently studying BFA in Music Dance Theater at BYU and is a Multimedia Specialist at Harold B. Lee Library in Provo, as well as the Social Media Manager for BYU Sports Promotions. “Keep the dream alive.”
     

Kenichi Nakashima
Man 5
  Kenichi was seen last year on our stage at ‘Matt’ in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and has also performed as ‘Pepe’ in West Side Story. He is a student of the University of Utah Modern Dance program, and works as a dance teacher at Miss Margene’s Creative Classroom, and freelance choreographer. “Thank you Miss Margene and Tracee for teaching me the art of dance, and my gorgeous wife for her never ending love and support.”
     

Michael Von Forell
Man 6
  Michael is a familiar face at Hale Centre Theatre Orem, having performed in Tarzan as a member of the ensemble, ‘Ambrose’ in Hello, Dolly!, and ‘Choir’ in A Christmas Carol. “I’d like to thank my family and friends for their support, and I hope you enjoy the show.”
     

Jared Campbell
Man 7
  Jared has previously performed as ‘Prince Eric’ in The Little Mermaid, ‘Rapunzel’s Prince’ in Into The Woods, and as himself in both Songs for a New World, and Sondheim on Sondheim. He graduated from USU with a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy, and a minor in Psychology, and works as a Music Therapist at the U of U Hospital in Inpatient Psychiatry, and as an ESL teacher for VIPKID, an online English school for Chinese children.
     

Matt Baxter

  Matt was most recently seen as ‘Simeon/Baker’ in Joseph…Dreamcoat and ‘Lafe/Counselor Robinson’ in Big River. Matt has also been seen on the HCT stage as ‘George’ in The Wedding Singer. He lists as favorite roles: ‘Pseudolus’ in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (WSU), ‘Jean Valjean’ in Les Misérables, ‘Rocky’ in Damn Yankees, ‘Duke Mahoney’ in Nice Work if You Can Get it and the lead soloist in Smokey Joe’s Café. Nathan Kremin

  Nathan is making his Hale debut on our Centre Stage in Hunchback. Some of his favorite productions he’s previously performed in include Shrek, and Love & Death vs. El Bandito at the Pickleville Playhouse, and The Scarlet Pimpernel at Terrace Plaza Playhouse. “Where’s my super suit?” – Frozone, The Incredibles
     

Alexander Vaughn
Man 10
  While Alexander has never been on the Hale stage before, he has performed with the Kingswood Players as Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps, as ‘Lumiere’ in multiple productions of Beauty and The Beast, and with the Springville Playhouse as ‘Armand St. Just’ in The Scarlet Pimpernel. Alexander is an actor and full-time student at UVU. “Pretending to be other people reminds me who I am.”
     

Megan McDonnell

  Megan has previously performed in Urinetown at Clark College and is a student at BYU.
     

MaKenzie Belnap
Woman 2
  MaKenzie is returning to the Hale stage after finishing a stint on the Disney Cruise Line, where he performed as ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Mrs. Potts’ in their Main Stage Shows. She has been seen on our Center Stage in West Valley as ‘Mary Jane’ in Big River, various roles in The Pirate Queen, and Ghost: The Musical, and in the UVU production Letters to Myself, written by Dave Tinney and Rob Moffat. MaKenzie has an Associate’s Degree from UVU in Theatre Performance, and is currently a full-time student at BYU in the same focus of study, and part-time tumbling instructor at Project Dance. “Have courage and be kind.”
     

Makenna Tinney

MaKenna has previously been seen on the HCT stage in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Sister Act, and has also played in Peter Pan and Joseph…Dreamcoat at HCTO. MaKenna is currently a Senior at UVU, pursuing a BFA in acting, and works in the box office at HCTO. “Enjoy the show! Or not. Do what you want.”

     

Heather White

Heather has a number of shows on her résumé, including Oliver!, Brigadoon, and Beauty and the Beast at Hale Centre Theatre West Valley, and Joseph…Dreamcoat, Hello, Dolly!, Catch Me if You Can, and Betty Blue Eyes at HCTO. She graduated from BYU with a BA in Archaeology, and has returned to get her Masters in Comparative Studies. She is currently working in research and exhibition development at BYU’s Museum of Peoples and Cultures. “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to perform in this beautiful musical. Enjoy the show!”

     

Lauren Kelsey Hughes

  Lauren has previously been seen as ‘Majella’ in The Pirate Queen and ‘Ensemble’ in Oklahoma! at HCT, as well as ‘Ensemble’ in Hello, Dolly! and ‘Morticia’ in The Addams Family at HCTO, and ‘Louisa Vampa’ in the national premiere of The Count of Monte Cristo at BYU. She graduated from the BYU MDT program in 2017. “Thank you to my wonderful new husband, Michael, my family, and friends for all the love and encouragement you continuously send my way.”
     

Becca Rose

  Becca’s favorite previous productions include Big River and Ragtime (HCTWV), Hairspray and Civil War: The Musical (HCTO), Sister Act (Lehi City Arts), and The Drowsy Chaperone, and A Year With Frog and Toad (SCERA). She is graduating from UVU this Spring with a degree in English, specifically creative writing, and works as an Account Manager at Solutionreach. “I create myself.”
     

Krista Saltmarsh Hemsley

  Krista has previously performed at Tuacahn, the Salt Lake City Tabernacle, and the BYU Marriott Center, and lists some favorite roles as ‘Witch’ in Into the Woods, ‘Rusty’ in Footloose, and ‘Kitty’ in The Drowsy Chaperone. She is a full-time Freshman in the MDT program at BYU, and mom. “Have courage and be kind.”
     

Kira Knorr

  Kira has previously performed at the SCERA (Les Misérables, Mary Poppins), Utah Rep (Bonnie & Clyde), and UVU (In The Light, The Children’s Hour). She is currently enrolled at UVU, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre, and works as a Personal Assistant at Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse. “Thank you, a million times over, to my family.”
     

Chelsea Rostedt

  Chelsea is excited to make her Hale debut with her husband, Tyler. Favorite previous roles include ‘Eponine’ in Les Misérables (Kelowna Actor’s Studio), ‘Amber Von Tussle’ in Hairspray (Mission Mainstage Company), and as a young performing missionary in Nauvoo, Illinois. She is currently a Junior at BYU, working toward a BFA in Music Dance Theatre, and works as both a teaching assistant for a Greek & Roman Literature class, and for BYU AV Productions as an office specialist. “Today you are You, that is truer than true. Brianna Maikle

  Briana is making her Hale debut, having previously performed at Utah Valley University (9 to 5: The Musical, The Children’s Hour, Jumpers), in Savior of the World, and served as a young performing missionary in Nauvoo last summer. She is also set to graduate this April with a BFA in Musical Theatre. “I’m so thankful to my incredible teachers, friends, and family who have helped me grow in the arts, and as a person!”
